Deeney or Sturridge
We are rumoured on BBC Gossip to be interested in both.

Good additions or desperation buys?

Strurridge will never leave in January especially as his side look to make a good challenge for the title this year!

''LOL people turning their noses up at Sturridge''

Well he won't be any use to us in the treatment room will he, and that's inevitably where he will end up alongside Sakho and the Geordie cripple.

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
were for art thou Charlie Austin.

4 mill to Southampton. English with age on his side. 8 goals so far this season. We have a striker yet to score 1!

Only we would be arrogant enough to say he is not good enough for us.

You lot are delusional, he wouldn't come to West Ham, oh hang on I'm forgetting we are a big club now and we are looking at Champions League qualification

Get real, no chance at all

Sturridge would be absolutely perfect for us.
Over paid and always fucking injured.

Sturridge, Lanzini, Payet and Fabregas with the defensive work covered by Kante and his brother pretending to be one defensive midfielder, and the other spot taken by a Robot Peter BUTLER

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
We would be fucking MAD to touch Sturridge with his injury record.
It would be no more than we deserve if we were to buy him and then he were to suffer a long term injury.

What's Troy Deeney's record like?

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Sturridge is a very exciting player that would walk into our team (and most teams) when fit. But any team that has him AND Carrol on their books at the same time is just asking for trouble. If we want holy Dan, we must first sell big Andy.

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Would give Sturridge a very wide berth....

More trouble than he is worth. Isn't there some talk of serious mental health problems?

dealcanvey 1:19 Wed Nov 16
Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Sturridge definitely has the quality but we need to learn our mistakes in regards to injury prone players.

Deeney I would definitely consider.

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Sturrige needs to play in a front 2? really?
So when Suarez was banned and he was banging them in for Liverpool was he in a front 2 then? no.

As for the two footed thing, have people gone mad? How many players are truly two footed? Does it even matter. Do we have a go at Robben for always cutting in on his left?

Some of the talk on here..
He is easily a 50m striker tarnished by an injury issue. If he doesnt get injured 25m is more of a bargain than the 12m for Payet.

franksfat&slow&wank 10:19 Wed Nov 16
Re: Deeney or Sturridge
sturridge is a great player but loves an injury, we cannot take more risks on that front surely?

no denying he'd be the best striker in a number of years but we know our luck

deeney, you'd get raped on price for an average player

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Bit late. What I meant was that kanoute and Forlan didn't set the world alight here and they scored as many goals in Spain as Torres. If Forlan and kanoute had started in Spain then an English club would have thrown money at them

Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Who gives a fuck whether Sturridge is lazy, I want him to stick the ball in the net, not chase a full back down and win a throw.

Seen to many of them.

JOHNNY V 8:48 Wed Nov 16
Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Flannel spot on he walks into our team with his one foot, some saying they would rather Sakho than Sturridge must be on something. Sturridge was the quickest ever Liverpool player in history to score 50 goals which is something with some of the players they have had down the years. He was up until recently and still might be the best goals to games ratio in premiership history. The only question mark is around his injury record, but I would take a chance because he is some player when fully fit.

Roeder-nowhere 7:42 Wed Nov 16
Re: Deeney or Sturridge
Neither! Both too expensive for what you get:one unproven in the scheme of things the other injury prone, huge wages big fee big ego & won't feliver consistantly. Otherwisehe'd be playing regularly
